THANKSGIVING

This year Bret and I had Thanksgiving with the Parker's (my moms side of the family) Both of my moms sisters and all of their kids were able to come! Grandma was so happy to have everyone there. It has been a long time since all of us have been together. We all had a great time eating, talking, laughing, and taking pictures together. THANKS to everyone who helped make such a YUMMY dinner! After we had dinner with the Parker's we were able to head to Orem to spend time with the Pierce's. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures there. I will be better next year. We had a great time eating yummy pie and spending time with them. We are so lucky that our families live so close. We are so thankful for our families and all they do for us!

PRINCESS DISNEY

Anxiously awaiting for Princess Disney to start! This was our 2nd annual trip to see the show! I know we might be a little to old for this but we are all still kids at heart. We had a blast and have decided to make it a tradition! Someday we'll have an excuse to go.....when we have girls of our own. After the show we went to lunch and shopping! Thanks for the fun day girls!

It was nice and sunny when we went into the show, but not so sunny when we came out. It was snowing so much. Thank heavens we had hoods-well most of us. Poor Heidi only had a little scarf. Isn't she cute!? We ran and laughed the whole way to the car.

Summer Fun

This is going to be a long random post of our summer adventures! We went camping with the Pierce's and some of their friends this summer a few times and had a blast! We love camping with them! And yes that BIG fish is one I caught! Bret's dad bought me the cutest pink fishing pole. I don't hunt with Bret but we love to fish together!

HONEYMOON. . .

We went to Disneyland for our honeymoon-besides the fact that our luggage got lost we had a blast! I didn't get many pictures but here are a few!

ENGAGEMENT

I decided to try this blogging thing out! Two of my friends have been trying to help me and it has been rough. Hopefully I will be able to figure it out! I'm going to start from our engagement so bear with me!

Bret and I met in October of 2007. One of my best friends Shea set us up! We dated for 13 months before Bret proposed. We went to Texas in November to visit his sister and her family. He told me that he was going to take me ring shopping for my birthday (which is in December) but little did I know he already had the ring in Texas. We went to a place called the River Walk-he proposed there. I was so suprised! He even picked out the ring by himself! I love it and was so excited to start our new journey together!
