I decided to try this blogging thing out! Two of my friends have been trying to help me and it has been rough. Hopefully I will be able to figure it out! I'm going to start from our engagement so bear with me! Bret and I met in October of 2007. One of my best friends Shea set us up! We dated for 13 months before Bret proposed. We went to Texas in November to visit his sister and her family. He told me that he was going to take me ring shopping for my birthday (which is in December) but little did I know he already had the ring in Texas. We went to a place called the River Walk-he proposed there. I was so suprised! He even picked out the ring by himself! I love it and was so excited to start our new journey together!
