Sadie...

Bret and I have spent the past week in Orem watching our parents house and dog while they were on vacation in HAWAII! Yes, we are a tiny bit jealous that they were there enjoying 85 degree weather in January. They definitely deserved the vacation though and we were happy to stay with the pup! This is Sadie-she spends most of her days on the couch sleeping or watching out the window.
She is one spoiled pup!
The first day we were there Bret left his work boots by the front door. Needless to say, Sadie got the best of it! We were both told several times not to leave anything out or the dog will chew it up. Sure enough she got ahold of Brets boot. Poor Sadie knew she was in trouble-she wouldn't even look at the boot. I think Bret has learned his lesson!
Bret and Sadie
We even had a movie night with Sadie! She would sit right next to me and put her head on my lap and wiggle until she was comfortable. She is one funny little dog. We are glad we were able to stay with Sadie so our parents could enjoy a nice vacation in HAWAII! The Henrie's went with them so Shea and Kyle were staying just a few doors down from us watching their dog. It was fun being so close to them and having dinner with them almost every night. We are going to miss being such close neighbors to them.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

This year for Christmas we were able to be with both of our families on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! We started our festivities off with getting our traditional pedicure the morning of Christmas Eve with Bret's parents! (unfortunately I didn't get a picture this year) I think that is one of my new favorite tradtions. Later that day we were able to spend time with the Pierce side before heading to my parents for our Christmas Eve party. This is another one of my favorite traditions. It used to be held at my Grandma Pulley's but we are running out of room there so my parents offered to have it at their house. We eat a yummy dinner, sing a few songs, and then all of the kids get to open their new Christmas PJ's. I love traditions!SISTERS-Hadlee, Peyton and Taylor
The cutest nieces and nephew-we need a few more boys so Parker isn't so out numbered!

Almost all of Grandma Pulley's great grandkids! It's so hard to get all of them looking at the same time-they are still super cute!
Thank you Grandma for starting such a wonderful tradition that we all love! We hope it will continue for many more years!

CHRISTMAS MORNING
Pulley's
We were able to run over to my parents for a few minutes before heading to the Pierce's for breakfast. Shay helping all the kids with their surprises from Grandma and Grandpa. I love being at our parents houses and getting to watch the kids open their gifts. They are much more exciting then Bret and I.
Parker got a little wagon with blocks in it-I think ridding in it looks more fun too! He is such a happy fun loving little boy!

Pierce's
Anxiously awaiting for everyone to finish up breakfast so we could head down stairs.
Michelle, Nick, Brynlee, Maddie, Me and Grandma Lucy
I love Grandma Lucy!
We have the sweetest, cutest grandma out there!
Before heading down stairs we enjoyed one of my favorite things for breakfast-bisquits and gravy! It is usually something we only have while camping so it was a nice surprise for Christmas breakfast. Before going down stairs it is a tradition to have a family prayer so we don't forget the true meaning of Christmas. Our six year old niece said it-I don't think there is anything sweeter then listening to a child pray. Thank you Maddie for helping us remember the TRUE meaning of Christmas with your prayer. Another tradition I love and hope Bret and I can carry on with our family.
Grandkids on the Pierce side.
We were both very spoiled this year and we are so grateful to our parents for taking such good care of us. Thank you for all that you did-it was way to much. We had a fun holiday season spending time with family, eating yummy food and enjoying some of our favorite tradtions! We hope you all did the same!

Just Married!!!

My cousin Megan got married this last weekend in the Manti Temple! It was a beautiful sealing-the sealer was so funny and had a lot of good advice to give. A lot of the things he said reminded me of things our sealer said to Bret and I. What a good reminder it was for me. I am grateful I was able to be in the Temple with Megan and Tyler and the spirit that was felt there. We are so excited for you two to begin your eternity together! Love you both!

The Second Annual....

It's time again for our second annual ONESIE party at Grandma's house! A few of my cousins and I have decided to make this a tradition with Grandma. We used to watch the movie, The Best Christmas Ever all year round when we were younger. We still love it and I think we still even know almost all of the words to the songs. It brings us back to our childhood, and who doesn't want to be a kid again sometimes?!?!The BEST Christmas movie
The onesies are just another "kid" thing to add to the party

Traditional booty shot

We have way to much fun together! Grandma is such a trooper to put up with us crazy girls, we love her and are glad she does it! Thanks for the good times, I can't wait for next year!

The BIG day

Shaylee and Ryley's BIG day finally came. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple on November 3, 2010 Just Married
Whats a wedding day without everyone telling you to KISS?
Me and Sandra (Ryley's mom)
Shaylee is so lucky to marry into such a great family-we love the Johnsons!
Could these three get any cuter?

Shaylee and the girls-pretty in pink
Peyton-she is so stinkin cute!
I may be a little bit bias but I have the most beautiful little sister!
Her dress was amazing-everything turned out perfect!
Mr. and Mrs. Johnson
We are so happy for you two to start this fun journey together-I couldn't be more excited for you guys! You are starting out on the right foot being sealed in the Temple. It was such a blessing to be in the Temple with all of our siblings and parents. I don't know if it' s going to be harder for my parents being empty nester's or for me not having my baby sister there every time we go over. It will be an adjustment-I am not good with change, to say the least. But we are excited for her to be with her best friend and for Ryley to be apart of our family. They are so perfect for each other. We love you guys!

Halloween....

This year for Halloween we went to my parents house Saturday night and ate yummy stew and soup and carved pumpkins with the kids. I think carving pumpkins with my niece Hadlee is becoming a tradition, she loves carving pumpkins and its even better when two of her favorite Uncles are there to help. Trying to get all 4 of them to look is impossible-but still, they are all so cute!
Peyton, Hadlee, Taylor and our little cowboy Parker
Hadlee brought a huge pumpkin to carve and Ryley wanted to be the best Uncle there so he carved it for her and put Bret and my name on it with a big heart, he was so proud!

Our 3 pumpkin carvers-Bret never wants to carve pumpkins but I think he has just as much fun as the kids. Thanks for a fun, laid back Halloween!
On Halloween day we actually started the wedding festivities with Shaylee and Ryley at their wedding dinner, of course I didn't take any pictures. It was a lot of fun visiting with everyone and hearing all the funny, embarrassing, nice things people had to say about both of them!

The Big One....

So as many of you know hunting is a BIG deal at our house. My father-in-law finally got his big bull elk tag this year and he couldn't have been more excited! The boys have been talking about it all summer long, we are so happy the hunt finally came around! And they came home with this......we are so proud!Craig-right after he shot him
Two very proud boys!
My dad was able to go and he said it was like watching kids on Christmas morning-so fun for them!

My Dad and Jeremy
They were glad they were invited and had a great time!

This picture is kind of sick but I wanted to put it on here so you could see how wide it was. I couldn't believe it! They are such big animals.

These 4 have been hunting together for a long time. They love it!
